Product Overview

 

 

The 6-axis open cycle Cryogenic Manipulator can realize precise control of sample position and angle. It is mainly composed of four parts: cryomanipulator, temperature control system, XYZ-R1 stage, and motor control system. The entire manipulator and the XYZ-R1 stage are made of non-magnetic materials and can be used under ultra-high vacuum. 6-axis means that the sample stage can be moved in the X, Y, and Z directions, and can realize polar rotation R1 (around Z axis), flip rotation R2 (tilt), and in-plane rotation R3 (azimuth), The movement of X/Y/Z/R1 are realized by the XYZ-R1 stage, R2 and R3 are realized by the gear transmission structure of the sample stage. The motor control software can interact with ScientaOmicron’s analysers to achieve automapping functionality.

Multi-axis: All axes are driven by step motors.

Temperature range :6K - 400K

Fast Cooling Rate:RT to 10K, < 20 minutes

Temperature stability: 10mK with PID control
